from Tuesday, August 29th to Saturday, September 2nd.

- August 30th: Super Combined
- September 1st: Slalom
- September 2nd: Giant Slalom
Cortina once again proves to be the capital of international sports, hosting a variety of both traditional and innovative sporting disciplines, solidifying a 120-year sports tradition.
Cortina has previously hosted Grass Skiing World Cup races in the summers of 2019, 2021, and 2022, with an interruption due to the pandemic. In the current year, it has taken a further step forward by organizing the competitions that will award the world titles.
For this event as well, the races will be held on the Socrepes track.
Athletes from all over the world will gather in Cortina d’Ampezzo towards the end of August to kick off the challenges. The opening is scheduled for Wednesday, August 30th with the super-G race, while the super combined will take place on Thursday, August 31st. After the speed events, the technical trials will come into play: Friday, September 1st will be the day of the slalom, while Saturday, September 2nd will conclude with the giant slalom.
The organization of this prestigious event has been entrusted to the “Fondazione Cortina“, which oversees all major sports events in the country. This is part of the preparation for the 2026 Milan-Cortina Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games, and on this occasion, the Foundation will collaborate with the “Fondazione Milano Cortina 2026”. For the realization of these races, there is a close collaboration with the Cortina Ski Club and Gt Bell 1, the Belluno association with a solid experience in grass skiing.
A fundamental role is also played by our company, Ista SPA, which manages the ski lift facilities, and has supported and invested in improving the Roncato – Socrepes track over the years, following the guidance of specialized grass skiing technicians. Alberto Dimai, the company’s president, enthusiastically explains the company’s involvement in the event, which has its roots in the past. In 2019, Ista SPA joined the grass skiing project, which took shape with the first edition of the World Cup. These events, particularly the World Championship, are part of the company’s summer offerings, which, through the lift facilities of Socrepes, Pié Tofana, and Pomedes, open from mid-June to mid-September, provide an opportunity to fully enjoy the beauty of our territory.
